Yellow wind code forecast in the northern and central districts of the country
The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a Yellow Wind Code for the northern and central regions of the country. This warning will take effect today, December 17, at 10:00 AM and will remain in place until midnight.
Meteorologists anticipate an intensification of the north-westerly winds, with gusts reaching speeds of 15-20 m/s during this period.
In light of this, the Chisinau City Hall is advising residents and visitors to be cautious. To prevent potential incidents, citizens are urged to avoid standing near old trees and not to park cars underneath them.
