Moldova expands poultry exports to EU
Starting January 1, 2025, Moldovan farmers who raise poultry can sell their products in the European Union.
These products don’t need special treatments to reduce risks, as stated by the National Food Safety Agency (ANSA).
Businesses are encouraged to apply to ANSA if they want to export poultry products.
ANSA also says that prepared poultry products can use meat from slaughterhouses that have been approved to sell to the EU.
The first shipments of Moldovan poultry to EU countries happened in November 2024.
