Serious accident in Singerei. Six people transported to hospital

Six people arrived at the hospital after two minibuses collided violently on the Balti-Chisinau road. According to the press officer of the Police Inspectorate Singerei, Lilia Harea, the accident occurred on the morning of December 22, around 6:50, in the Bilicenii Vechi locality.

Law enforcement officers have preliminarily established that a minibus with 16 passengers on board, driven by a 69-year-old man, stopped to pick up a passenger. As a result, the vehicle was hit from behind by another minibus, driven by a 36-year-old man.

As a result of the impact, six people suffered and were transported to hospital.

Both drivers were tested with the Drager device, and no traces of alcohol were detected in their exhaled air.

An investigation was started into the case to establish all the circumstances.

No Moldovan citizen is currently among the victims of the car attack that occurred on Friday evening at the Christmas Market in the German city of Magdeburg, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Chisinau. The ministry reports that the Moldovan embassy in Berlin is in constant communication with German authorities. As of now, the incident has resulted in at least four deaths and approximately 200 injuries. The identities of all the victims have not yet been disclosed, and authorities are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the event.
