Heavy traffic at the Costești-Stînca border crossing on the way into the Republic of Moldova

Heavy traffic of passengers and means of transport is currently reported at the Costești-Stînca border crossing, informs the General Inspectorate of the Border Police. The congestion is recorded on the way into the Republic of Moldova.

The Border Police is taking measures to streamline cross-border traffic and is working at maximum capacity.

As a result, the authorities recommend that travelers opt for the Lipcani-Rădăuți Prut border crossing in advance.

"To facilitate your travel planning, you can use alternative routes by accessing online maps, and for updated information on the traffic situation and any other details, we suggest you consult the official website of the Border Police," the IGPF informs.
