Igor Grosu on Moldova's European path and Parliament's achievements
In an insightful interview, Igor Grosu, the Speaker of the Moldovan Parliament, shared his perspective with Moldova 1’ audience on the progress made by the legislature and the challenges it has faced over the past year.
He commended the active involvement of deputies in driving the Parliament’s work, which has often seen them working late into the night. Grosu emphasized the importance of legislative initiatives, noting the government’s commitment to implementing policies that align with Moldova’s long-term goals.
The conversation also touched on the country’s journey toward European integration. Grosu expressed optimism about Moldova's European future, despite the political hurdles encountered. He highlighted the overwhelming public support for the European course and conveyed confidence in the country's ability to stay on this path.
The Speaker also commented on the flexibility of the Party of Action and Solidarity (PAS), mentioning that they would consider forming coalitions with other pro-European forces, if necessary, to ensure a unified commitment to Moldova’s European integration.
