Ukrainian official: Russian missiles fly into the airspace of the Republic of Moldova and Romania

The commander of the armed forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zalujnîi, declares that today at around 10.18 a Russian missile flew into the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, then that of Romania - a NATO country, after which it entered Ukraine again.

The missiles were launched from the Black Sea, the quoted source added.

The Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Moldova confirmed the information made public by officials from Ukraine.

"The responsible structures within the institution detected, at 10:18 a.m., a missile that crossed the airspace of the Republic of Moldova, over the town of Mocra in the Transnistrian region and, later, over the town of Cosauți in the Soroca district, heading towards Ukraine. We mention that the Ministry of Defense, in collaboration with the responsible structures in the country, closely monitors the situation in the region and firmly condemns the violation of the airspace of the Republic of Moldova", says a reaction of the Ministry of Defense for Ziarul National.
