Changes in Maia Sandu's presidential team
President Maia Sandu signed a decree today that provides for adjustments in the composition of her team. Some of the advisors will continue their activity in the areas they already manage, while others will take on new responsibilities.
Thus, Igor Zaharov, who held the position of advisor for European affairs and strategic communication, will become advisor on public communication and spokesperson for the President. Olga Roșca will take over the responsibilities of advisor on foreign policy and European affairs.
President Maia Sandu also accepted the resignations of Irina Gotișan, who held the position of spokesperson, Iuliana Cantaragiu, advisor for environmental protection, and Angela Brașoveanu, advisor in culture field.
Adrian Băluțel remains the President's Chief of Staff, Stella Jantuan - presidential advisor on political issues, relations with public authorities and civil society, Stanislav Secrieru - advisor in the field of defense and national security, Elena Druță - advisor for relations with the diaspora, Valentina Chicu - advisor in the field of education and research.
