2025 Prosecutor's Assembly to set priorities and appoint commissions

The General Assembly of Prosecutors will be held on February 11, 2025, at 10:00 AM at the "Moldexpo" exhibition center.

The announcement was made during the session of the Superior Council of Prosecutors (SCP) on January 3. At the event, the General Prosecutor's Report for 2024 will be presented, and the priorities for the Prosecutor's Office for the year will be established.

Additionally, on that day, the Election Commission and the Appeals Evaluation Commission will be formed.

During the session, the president of the SCP, Dumitru Obadă, announced the approved candidacies for elections to the SCP's subordinate boards.

In the Selection and Evaluation Council of Prosecutors, the following candidates were approved: Andronic Natalia, Buzu Vasile, Dimitraș Marcel, Gornea Mariana, Gulea Tatiana, Lavciuc Corneliu, Niculiță Grigore, Șușu Constantin, and Zanevici Nicolae.

In the Discipline and Ethics Council, the following candidates were approved: Beiu Viorel, Lozan Alexandru, Șușu Constantin, and Zubco Eugenia.

The last General Assembly of Prosecutors was held online on February 29 of the previous year, at the request of the Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, to discuss the situation surrounding the competition for the position of General Prosecutor.
