False alarm at Chisinau International Airport: No fire source detected
On the morning of January 10, firefighters responded to a fire alarm at Chisinau International Airport. The emergency call was received at 8:40 AM, prompting the dispatch of three rescue and fire crews, as reported by the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (IGSU).
IGSU personnel conducted an investigation to check for any potential ignition sources. At 9:02 AM, they confirmed that no fire source was present.
All individuals inside the airport were safely evacuated, and fortunately, no one was injured during the incident. The cause of the alarm being triggered is still under investigation.
