The Republic of Moldova and the UAE will mutually recognize driving licenses

The Republic of Moldova and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) have agreed to mutually recognize each other's driving licenses. The government in Chisinau has approved the initiation of negotiations for a memorandum to formalize this agreement.

This mutual recognition will reduce administrative formalities and expedite procedures for Moldovan citizens living in the UAE. Furthermore, signing the agreement will strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries and aid in the integration of Moldovan citizens within the diaspora.

The Republic of Moldova has also established treaties for mutual recognition of driving licenses with several other countries, including Israel, Turkey, Albania, Spain, Lithuania, France, and the Hellenic Republic. Additionally, the Republic of Moldova has signed a declaration regarding the recognition of driving licenses with Germany.

Moldovagaz is not notified about resumption of gas supplies to the transnistrian region

Moldovagaz, the sole supplier of natural gas to the Transnistrian region, has not been officially notified about the resumption of gas supplies from the Russian Federation. The statement was made by the company's interim head, Vadim Ceban, in the context of the announcement made by the alleged leader in Tiraspol, Vadim Krasnoselski, regarding the resumption of gas supplies.
