Two more pharmacies opened under the “Pharmacy in Your Village” project

The “Pharmacy in Your Village” project has now expanded to two additional villages in the Republic of Moldova. As a result, around 4,000 residents from Cușmirca in the Șoldănești district and Scorțeni in the Telenești district now have access to pharmaceutical services closer to their homes.

The two pharmacies offer the dispensing of reimbursed medicines and the management of electronic prescriptions, which enhances access to safe and quality pharmaceutical services.

We remind you that last year, as part of this project, 52 pharmacies were opened, serving over 60,000 individuals.

Additionally, the "Pharmacy in Your Village" project is being implemented following government approval of a regulation. This regulation provides that entrepreneurs who establish pharmacies in villages lacking pharmaceutical assistance will receive a free license and monthly subsidies ranging from 10,000 to 20,000 lei, depending on their registered income.
