Prime Minister Dorin Recean to lead Moldova at Davos 2025

Prime Minister Dorin Recean will head the Republic of Moldova's delegation at the 55th edition of the World Economic Forum in Davos, scheduled for January 22-23.

The event is being held under the theme "Collaboration for the Smart Era."

In these discussions, Prime Minister Dorin Recean will promote Moldova's economic agenda, highlighting the benefits the country offers to foreign investors. Additionally, the Prime Minister will address concerns about cybersecurity and efforts to strengthen Moldova's energy independence.

The World Economic Forum in Davos gathers nearly 3,000 leaders from over 130 countries, including 350 government officials and 60 heads of state and government from major global regions. The Moldovan delegation also includes Dumitru Alaiba, the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, and Natalia Bejan, the Head of the Investment Agency.

The Forum's agenda includes topics such as global economic trends, the energy situation, climate goals, and how artificial intelligence can help improve people's lives.
