Kyle Walker joins AC Milan on loan: A dream transfer

The Italian club has loaned 34-year-old English defender Kyle Walker from Manchester City for the remainder of the season.

AC Milan also has the option to make the transfer permanent in the summer, when Walker is expected to sign a two-year contract. He will wear the number 32 shirt at his new club.

"Hello, Rossoneri! I’m thrilled and proud to have signed with AC Milan, a club with a rich history that I have admired since childhood. I’m eager to start working and playing at San Siro," said Kyle Walker.

The player bid farewell to his English club through a message posted on social media, sharing that playing for Manchester City had been a dream come true.

Signed by Manchester City from Tottenham in 2017, Kyle Walker quickly became a key player. With 319 appearances across all competitions, the Englishman has won six league titles, four League Cups, two FA Cups, a Champions League trophy, a UEFA Super Cup, and a Club World Cup.

Walker began his career at Sheffield United and also played for Northampton Town and Aston Villa.
