PAS MP: The new Government to be invested on Tuesday. Most of the current ministers will remain in office
The new Government could be invested tomorrow, and most of the current ministers will remain in office, claim the deputies of the PAS fraction in Parliament. According to the political experts from Chisinau, by resetting the government, the president is strengthening her team that will help her achieve success in the presidential elections, experts say. According to experts, the Minister of Justice, Infrastructure, Economy and Finance will be changed.
Most of the ministers in the Government led by Natalia Gavrilița will be in the new cabinet headed by Dorin Recean, and on Tuesday, February 14, the investiture in Parliament could take place, PAS deputy Radu Marian told Radio Moldova. "We are now in discussions, consultations, the process is at the end, in the following days we will announce the decision. The newly installed government will work based on the priorities of the Gavrilița government", says Radu Marian.
The political scientist Anatol Țăranu claims that more than half of the current ministers will remain in the government led by Dorin Recean, and in his opinion the Minister of Justice, the Minister of Infrastructure and Finance will be changed. At the same time, the political analyst mentions that even if the government wants to invest the new government, there are democratic procedures, such as the discussion in the parliamentary committees, which should not be omitted, in order not to hit the Government's image from the start.
"I believe that part of the old composition of the Government will be preserved, it is about foreign policy, the reintegration of the Republic of Moldova, I mean Oleg Serebrian, probably the Ministry of Defense, there will be new nominees to the ministry that was led by Andrei Spînu, it is very likely that the ministry will be restructured, certain areas will be divided, there will also be changes at the Ministry of Justice, probably at the Ministry of Finance. A substantial change is needed", said Anatol Țăranu.
We remind you that the Gavrilița Government resigned on Friday, February 10, after a year and a half of government, explaining that the Republic of Moldova is entering a new phase in which the priority is security. Two hours later, President Maia Sandu appointed the presidential security adviser, Dorin Recean, to the position of prime minister.
