Meteorologists issued yellow ice warning. Recommendations for citizens

The State Hydrometeorological Service (SHS) has issued a Yellow Ice Code, valid throughout the country. The warning comes into effect on Monday, February 3, at 19:00, and will be valid until Tuesday, February 4, at 10:00.

"Ice will form on the roads in most of the country's territory," meteorologists announce.

Under these conditions, the authorities recommend that citizens be extremely cautious and avoid travelling on roads in icy conditions, unless it is urgent.

If it is necessary to leave the house, it is recommended to reduce the speed of traffic and check the condition of the vehicle. It is also important to pay attention to traffic signs and stop in a safe place if the weather conditions worsen.

Furthermore, it is recommended to check the weather forecast and traffic information before setting off to be aware of sudden changes in the weather.

Also, on sidewalks and pedestrian roads, it is important to wear non-slip shoes and be careful of icy areas.
