Energocom delivered over 5 million cubic meters to the Transnistrian region in the first three days of February
As of February 1, JSC Energocom began deliveries of natural gas to the national network, based on the requests of Tiraspoltransgaz and the order of the Commission for Emergencies. According to the data, the quantities delivered were: 450,000 cubic meters on February 1, 2.7 million cubic meters on February 2, and 2.575 million cubic meters on February 3.

The gas destined for the Transnistrian region was purchased from the stock exchanges in Romania and Bulgaria and was transported through the Trans-Balkan corridor and the Iasi-Ungheni gas pipeline.
To this effect, the European Union has allocated an emergency grant of 30 million euros to the Republic of Moldova, of which 20 million euros will be used as humanitarian aid for the Transnistrian regions, in particular for household consumers, schools, and social objectives.
The remaining 10 million euros will be used for the daily purchase of electricity from the BRM and OPCOM markets, for consumption on the right bank of the Republic of Moldova.
