EU Commissioner for Enlargement is visiting the Republic of Moldova
European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos, begins her first official visit to the Republic of Moldova today, where she will have discussions with officials from Chisinau about the European integration process and the European Union's financial support for our country.

The visit's agenda includes meetings with President Maia Sandu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Marta Kos will also discuss with the Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization, Dumitru Alaiba, and with the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Cristina Gherasimov.
One of the main topics will be the Economic Growth Plan, through which the Republic of Moldova is expected to benefit from 1.8 billion euros. The EU Commissioner will also participate in a press conference on the European assistance package aimed at overcoming the energy crisis.
