The three suspects arrested for the abduction of a man from downtown Chișinău will remain in custody for 30 days.

The decision was made on Sunday, February 9, by the judges of the Chișinău Court, based in Ciocana.
The suspects refused to make statements, though they had previously pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutors requested the application of this measure on Saturday, February 8.
The three suspects were brought before the judges individually. Again, they refused to make statements.
It is important to note that three individuals were arrested on February 7 for allegedly abducting a Moldovan citizen living on the left bank of the Dniester River.
The police have announced that a total of six suspects have been identified, but only three have been arrested.
According to the General Police Inspectorate, the victim was forcibly taken in connection with an alleged robbery or theft committed in the region.
In this case, the Promo-LEX Association has also intervened, condemning the abduction of a Moldovan citizen in broad daylight from downtown Chișinău by representatives of the de facto authorities in Tiraspol. The Association stresses that this act constitutes a serious violation of fundamental human rights.
