Three more German armored vehicles will arrive in the Republic of Moldova today

The National Army will receive three more Piranha armored personnel carriers from Germany, announces the Ministry of Defense from Chisinau. The technical units will arrive in the Republic of Moldova today.

"The Piranha vehicle is received in the context of achieving the objective of modernizing the capabilities of the National Army and based on the Agreement signed between the Ministry of Defense and the German side in October 2021," says the Ministry of Defense. The source notes that the vehicles will be used in the process of training the military, who are to be deployed in international peacekeeping missions. It should be noted that the first batch of Piranha arrived in the Republic of Moldova this January. The donation contains a total of 19 "Piranha-3" vehicles. The other technical units will be delivered during the current year.
