Zimbru Chișinău strengthens squad with Spanish and Ivorian signings
Zimbru Chișinău has signed a new player, who was trained at FC Barcelona and their local rival Espanyol.
Iu Ranera Grau, a 30-year-old Spanish midfielder, has agreed to a contract with the "yellow-green" club, which will last until June 2026. He has played for Barcelona's youth teams, Rayo Vallecano, and several teams in the lower divisions of Spanish football.
Ranera Grau also played for IF Gefle, a team in Sweden's second division. In total, he played 129 matches for the team, scoring 9 goals and assisting 4 times.
Another player to join Zimbru this winter is Ivorian defender Abou Dosso. He, too, has signed a contract valid until June 2026. Dosso is 28 and has previously played in his home country, as well as in Israel and Azerbaijan.
