A six-year-old child dies in a road accident in Cahul
A six-year-old child tragically lost his life this evening after being struck by a car on Doinelor Street in Cahul. According to the police, the accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. when the minor was crossing the road illegally.
After the impact, the child had multiple injuries and was urgently taken to Cahul District Hospital, where he unfortunately died shortly after arrival.
The driver of the car, a 39-year-old man, underwent a breathalyzer test, it was a negative result.
The police started an investigation to establish the circumstances of the accident.
