Moldova’s agenda at the 61st Munich Security Conference

A delegation from the Republic of Moldova, led by Foreign Minister Mihai Popșoi, will participate in the 61st Munich Security Conference, one of the world’s most prestigious forums dedicated to global security. The event is set to take place on February 14-15.

According to Moldova’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, discussions at the conference will focus on key global security challenges, including the impact of regional conflicts on international stability, cybersecurity threats, geopolitical shifts, and climate-related security risks.

During the event, Moldovan officials will hold meetings with foreign ministers, counterparts from internal affairs and defense ministries, officials from various countries, and representatives of international organizations. These discussions will emphasize strengthening bilateral cooperation, reinforcing regional security, and advancing Moldova’s European integration efforts.

The Munich Security Conference brings together over 50 heads of state and government, along with more than 100 foreign and defense ministers. Established in 1963, it remains one of the most influential platforms for high-level discussions on international security and policy.
