Maia Sandu attends 61st Munich Security Conference in 2025

President Maia Sandu is attending the 61st Munich Security Conference from February 14-15, one of the premier international forums focused on global security.

During the event, the head of state will meet with high-ranking officials to discuss regional security and peacekeeping efforts in Europe. Amid a geopolitically challenging context, Maia Sandu will reaffirm Moldova’s commitment to stability and regional cooperation, further strengthening the country’s strategic partnerships.

The Munich Security Conference brings together political leaders, security experts, and civil society representatives every year, aiming to promote peaceful solutions to global conflicts and foster international dialogue on security issues.

It is worth noting that three Moldovan ministers are also attending the 61st Munich Security Conference. The delegation includes Daniella Misail-Nichitin, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Anatolie Nosatîi, the Minister of Defense, and Mihai Popșoi, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs.
