Meteorologists forecast sleet and snowfall for this weekend

This weekend, winter brings snowfall, negative temperatures and difficult road conditions. Meteorologists announce that sleet and snowfall will be recorded over large areas on Saturday, and snowfall will continue on Sunday and Monday.

The wind will blow weakly to moderately from the west, with temporary intensifications on February 15. Temperatures will gradually decrease, reaching values of -8…-13°C on Sunday night into Monday.

Today, in the north of the country, temperatures between -3 and -5 degrees Celsius will be recorded during the day. For the districts in the center of the country, temperatures will range between 0 and -2 degrees Celsius and the south of the country, temperatures will be between 0 and -1 degrees Celsius.

Due to low temperatures and precipitation, SHS warns that there is a risk of ice forming on the roads.
