Adrian Dupu concludes his term as State Secretary in Romania
Adrian Dupu has concluded his term as State Secretary of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova within the Government of Romania.

The announcement was made on a social media platform. "At the start of my term, I expected significant challenges; now, looking back, I can say they were even greater than I had anticipated. Back then, I also said that I would be fully committed to the mission entrusted to me, and now, as my term ends, I can say with all my heart that I have fulfilled that commitment. The hundreds of completed projects and the hundreds of thousands of beneficiaries stand as proof. I took over an institution that very few people had heard of and transformed it into a key reference point for relations between Romania and the Republic of Moldova. Although I leave office today, DRRM’s impact will continue to be felt for many years," said Adrian Dupu.
"I do not know what the future holds, but I can say with certainty that the Republic of Moldova and its people will always have a place in my heart," he added. Adrian Dupu was removed from office by decision of Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu, reports Agerpres. Until a new head of the Department is appointed, the duties of the State Secretary will be carried out by Constantin-Valentin Răducanu, General Director for Management and Projects. It is worth noting that Adrian Dupu was appointed State Secretary of the Department for Relations with the Republic of Moldova in 2021 by decision of the then-Prime Minister, Florin Cîțu.
