Roberta Metsola: "The European Parliament will remain with the Republic of Moldova on its way to join the EU"
The place of the Republic of Moldova is in the European family, reads an open letter published by the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola and addressed to the head of state Maia Sandu. The official from Brussels reiterates the European Union's support for our country "in this difficult geopolitical context".
"Your leadership and courage (n.ed. Maia Sandu) in continuing the reforms towards EU accession have our full support. We will go together. Be sure that the European Parliament will remain with the Republic of Moldova on its way to join the European Union", said the President of the European Parliament. Roberta Metsola also mentioned that the European Union will continue to provide financial and political support to strengthen the country's resilience in terms of security.
