Moldova 1 TV screens the documentary "Zbor" – A tribute to Vladimir Beșleagă
Moldova 1 TV will screen on Friday, February 28, at 8:00 PM, documentary "Zbor," produced by TeleFilm Chișinău and directed by Eugeniu Popovici, as a tribute to the late writer Vladimir Beșleagă.

The film, originally released on the writer’s 91st birthday, offers a moving journey through the life and work of Vladimir Beșleagă, a key personality in Bessarabian Romanian literature. His novels, including "Zbor frânt," "Nepotul," "Durere," and "Viața și moartea nefericitului Filimon," left a lasting impact on Moldovan culture.
A renowned essayist and translator, Beșleagă was also a prominent voice in the National Revival Movement and served as a deputy in the Republic of Moldova’s first Parliament.
"I have only ever written when I was in pain," Beșleagă once said.
