Chisinau kindergartens fight viral infections
Chisinau kindergartens are implementing additional measures to prevent the spread of viral infections. The General Directorate of Education, Youth, and Sports has issued an order to this effect.
Starting Monday, March 3rd, children will have their temperature checked upon entering the kindergarten, and those showing signs of illness will be sent home with their parents.
Kindergarten staff will also be required to sanitize the premises with disinfectants.
Children's participation in crowded events should also be limited.
At Monday's City Hall meeting, Vladimir Bolocan, Deputy Head of the General Directorate of Medical and Social Assistance, reported 4,177 cases of acute respiratory infections in the capital over the past week, with numbers increasing.
