Dozens of women entrepreneurs participate in the "Cămara Fest" fair in Chisinau
Dozens of producers from Moldova participated in "Cămara Fest," showcasing their unique products. Each item carries a special story, often reflecting the hard work of women who dedicate their days and nights to create impressive offerings. Buyers are excited about these fairs, as they discover original gift ideas that they can't find elsewhere.
Galina Samoschina from Drochia came to the fair with decorative candles. After several years spent abroad, she returned home and turned her passion into a business.
"There I saw the idea of making decorative candles and it started with candles and we ended up with many handicrafts. We have special gifts prepared for this holiday and there are decorative candles and flowers in glasses", said the woman.
Other products, other success stories. The women say that they developed their businesses either from a hobby or from a family business.
"When I was a student, my grandfather had honey and he couldn't sell it and I decided to help him. Honey started to be certified, beautifully packaged and for seven years now we sell it in a chain of stores", said Victoria Rusnac, producer.
"While on maternity leave with my fourth child, I was looking for something more productive than a hobby and the idea for natural spices came up, but still we started with plants for tea and it's been six years since we started collecting plants", said Ana Balahtari.
Flowers were the most requested at the fair. Olga came with tulips, hyacinths and snowdrops all the way from Soroca.
"We have tulips, hyacinths and snowdrops here, even though they are very rare, but we have them and we came to the fair to sell them".
People who came to the fair say they found special products. Some of them come regularly and already know all the producers.
"They are our local producers, they are the best products. I bought bread, I bought fruit, grapes and I would buy more, I go back and forth"
"I bought some bread, juice, flour for polenta. The bread is very tasty”*;
The Cămara Ferst Fair will take place tomorrow, in Alunelul Park in Chisinau.
