Moldova police get new vehicles as aid from Germany, Romania
The National Police of Moldova has received 90 new vehicles, distributed to police inspectorates nationwide to enhance police mobility and response capabilities.

These new vehicles will enable a faster, more efficient response to citizens' requests and aid in the fight against crime.
Of the 90 vehicles, 44 were provided by German authorities under the 'Enable & Enhance' Initiative to support the Police's territorial subdivisions, particularly those along the administrative security line. Their value is over one million euros.
An additional 46 vehicles were provided by the Romanian Government, under a cooperation agreement with Moldova to strengthen public order management capabilities. This batch is valued at 999,731 euros.
The General Police Inspectorate states that enhancing safety for citizens and National Police employees remains a priority. The provision of modern equipment is part of an ongoing process to renew and modernize the technology used for operational work.
