Trump talks with Putin about ending war and Kursk region crisis

American President Donald Trump stated that he had a "very good and productive" phone conversation with Vladimir Putin.
In a post on his social media platform TruthSocial, he mentioned seeing a real opportunity to bring an end to the war, as reported by The Moscow Times.
"Yesterday (Thursday, March 13), I had a very good and productive discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin. There’s a real chance that this terrible, bloody war could finally come to an end," wrote Donald Trump.
Meanwhile, the American president highlighted the difficult situation in the Kursk region, where, according to him, "thousands of Ukrainian soldiers" are "fully surrounded by Russian troops."
"I urged President Putin, insistently, to spare their lives. Otherwise, it will be a massacre the world hasn't witnessed since World War II. God bless them all!" Trump emphasized, according to the cited source.
