Traffic restrictions in Chisinau in connection with the visit of the Czech President

Access to certain public places in Chisinau will be temporarily restricted on March 20, 2025, between 08:00 and 16:00, in the context of the official visit of the President of the Czech Republic, Petr Pavel.

According to a press release from the Chisinau City Hall, the restrictions apply to the city center and the arteries connecting to the Chisinau International Airport. Thus, between 08:00 and 16:00, meetings, rallies, and marches will be prohibited, as well as repair work on roads, electrical and thermal networks, aqueducts and sewers, as well as cutting down trees in the area of ​​the streets where the official delegation will travel.

Drivers are urged to follow the instructions of traffic officers and to show patience and discipline in traffic, without deviating from the Road Traffic Regulations.

We remind you that the Czech President, Petr Pavel, will pay his first official visit to the Republic of Moldova on Thursday, March 20. He will be hosted by the head of state, Maia Sandu. The visit will begin with an official welcoming ceremony scheduled for 9:00. Later, at 10:20, the two presidents will hold a joint press conference.
