Sergiu Mocanu's plane made a forced landing in Hâncești
A small plane made an emergency landing in a field near the city of Hincesti. The Civil Aeronautics Authority announced that it was informed by phone about the incident and that, following standard procedures, the Transport Accidents and Incidents Investigation Bureau will launch an investigation. The plane's pilot Sergiu Mocanu told Moldova 1 that he lost traction and had to make an emergency landing in a field.
Sergiu Mocanu said that he immediately notified the Civil Aeronautical Authority, which came to help them. There was also a passenger on board, but no one was hurt.
"Yesterday, near the town of Hincesti, I lost traction on the plane. I looked for a field to land in and I landed. Now a commission will analyze the problem of what caused the defect. An emergency landing is an exercise that pilots do constantly," said Mocanu.
We remind you that in October, a small plane crashed on the territory of a rest base in the city of Vadul lui Vodă, then the pilot lost his life.
