Heavy traffic at Sculeni border: Travelers face long waits
Heavy traffic is currently building up at the Sculeni-Sculeni Border Crossing on the way out of the Republic of Moldova. Around 80 vehicles are in a queue, creating significant congestion.
Authorities report that both the Border Police and Customs Service are working at full capacity and coordinating with Romanian counterparts to ease traffic congestion.
To minimize delays, travelers are encouraged to use alternative border crossings, such as Leușeni, Costești, or Cahul, where traffic is lighter.
"Upon reaching the border, travelers are urged to remain patient, considerate, and respectful toward border personnel and fellow travelers," the Border Police stated.
