Criminal Iurie Radulov left the Republic of Moldova without restrictions

Iurie Radulov, also known as "Babior," was sentenced to life imprisonment for committing 10 contract murders and attempting 11 others. He was conditionally released from prison and left the territory of the Republic of Moldova on March 16. This information was confirmed by Diana Fetco, spokesperson for the General Inspectorate of Police, in a statement to Teleradio-Moldova Company.
"I would like to point out that, to date, the Police have not received any requests from the court or other institutions to ensure certain restrictive measures about him," Diana Fetco informed.
Iurie Radulov became known in the underworld in the 90s. He was the head of one of the bloodiest killer groups in the Republic of Moldova. The group led by Radulov was responsible for dozens of murders, among the victims being businessmen and underworld leaders. In the 2000s, investigations showed that members of the group committed four murders and six attempted murders in the Transnistrian region. Radulov, together with other members of his group, fled the country and was put on international wanted list. Radulov was detained in Bulgaria and was extradited to Chisinau.
He was convicted of 10 murders and 11 attempted murders. Iurie Radulov played a key role in creating one of the bloodiest criminal groups in Romania in the early 1990s. Radulov's group was eventually dismantled, and many of its members were detained and convicted.
