Russia does not want peace—its missiles make that clear. Only determined international action can stop Russia and bring this war to an end.
The head of European diplomacy, Kaja Kallas, also reacted, calling the images from Krivoi Rog “tragic and inhumane.” She said that Russia “is not interested in peace”.
„Another reckless Russian attack struck a crowded residential area, reportedly killing at least 14, including 6 children. Russia continues to destroy Ukraine, no interest in peace”.

„Firing a missile at a children's playground – this is not war, this is barbarism. Our thoughts are with the families of the victims and with those defending their country against Russian terror", wrote Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky on the social network X.

We remind you that the Russian military hit the city of Krivoy Rog with ballistic weapons on April 4. There was also a children's playground near the site of the attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky condemned the attack, which caused dozens of casualties.
"They are nothing but inhuman scum - everyone who can do such things. There are no decent words to describe these Russian scoundrels," the Ukrainian leader said.
He stressed that such attacks are not accidental, as the Russians know exactly the location of energy infrastructure, which Moscow has promised, including to the US, that it will not target. "Every Russian promise ends with missiles or drones, bombs or artillery. Diplomacy means nothing to them," Zelensky added.
In this context, the President of Ukraine calls for increased international pressure on Russia, so that it feels "the consequences of every lie, every attack, and every day in which it prolongs the war and takes lives."
