1300 households in Cojușna will benefit from an efficient waste collection system
Around 1,300 households in Cojușna will benefit from an efficient waste collection system, with the purchase of a sanitation truck by the city hall, with the support of the Ministry of Environment. The new truck will improve the waste collection process from households and help prevent the formation of unauthorized landfills.
The equipment will significantly reduce waste collection time, lower operational costs and improve working conditions for sanitation service employees.
In 2024, 30 localities across the country benefitted from similar projects, implemented with the support of the Ministry of Environment, which included both the purchase of special vehicles and the installation of dumpsters and solutions for the elimination of unauthorized landfills.
These initiatives are part of the Ministry of Environment's commitment to support the modernization of waste management infrastructure, promoting a cleaner and healthier environment for all citizens.
