Having gained extensive experience in acrobatics and gymnastics in France, she returned home to share her knowledge with young talents.

We are talking about Elena Zunea from Comrat, who currently coaches more than 50 gymnasts. The idea of opening a group for girls came from the parents. And the results speak for themselves. Although only three years have passed, Elena's students have already made a name for themselves in various international competitions.

Elena Zunea says that the decision to start working as a coach was a difficult one for her, but she does not regret her choice for a single moment.

"For a year or maybe even longer, I couldn't decide if I wanted to work, because it's a big responsibility, and conditions are needed. Over time, I decided, and now I don't regret it; we have been working for five years, and we've been doing sports for three years," said the coach, Elena Zunea.

The girls who dedicate themselves to this sport say they do it for pleasure. For them, gymnastics is not just a physical activity, but a true passion that helps them feel more confident in their own abilities.

"I started this sport at the age of 9. My mother brought me. It means a lot to me because this sport is my life. I spend the entire week in the gym. The last time I competed was in Croatia in September last year. We performed well," says one of the gymnasts.

"We are involved in gymnastics. We have been to Chișinău, and also to Romania."

"We have been coming here for four and a half years. We like it very much, we do sports, we like it very much."

The idea of opening a gymnastics group for girls came from the parents. Thus, the acrobatics and gymnastics department at the Municipal Sports School has been operating for three years.

"Many parents were inquiring. There are various sports for boys, but there were few options for girls, so we decided to open this acrobatics department, which is very popular with children, and every year we have an increasing number of children in this group. They already compete in international competitions and achieve great results. They are the champions of Moldova," reported the director of the Sports School, Gavril Tulba.

Currently, 350 children attend the Comrat Municipal Sports School, and the classes are free for everyone.
