The missing 10-year-old girl from the forest between Căpriana and Ciobanca was found alive
A 10-year-old girl who went missing during a national competition in the forest between the localities of Căpriana and Ciobanca in the Strașeni district was found alive around 2:00 a.m. She was located approximately 20 kilometers from where she disappeared. According to the police, the girl responded to the rescuers' shouts and met them alone.
A girl was reported missing around 4:00 p.m. when the competition organizers noticed that she had not reached the finish line. Approximately 10 hours later, she was found safe.
The search operations involved police officers, local volunteers, and foresters. Drones and other specialized equipment were used to aid in locating the minor.
The child will be consulted by specialists, and authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding her disappearance.
The sports competition, which began at 1:00 p.m., included 150 children and 50 adults from several localities. Participants were organized into groups, each provided with a map of the designated route.
