Campaign „Dăruiește cu Căldură” brings Easter joy to 400 families in Soroca
On the eve of the Easter holidays, a charity campaign was organized in Soroca to support families in need. Over 400 families with modest incomes received assistance, thanks to the generosity of kind people. Participants in the campaign provided clothing, shoes, and toys for children. This initiative brought joy to the beneficiaries, as many of these items will be greatly useful to them during the holiday season.
Parents express their gratitude for having items to send their children to school and kindergarten.
"We are from Decebal and we heard about this campaign. We came to see and choose something new for our children because they like it".
"We came from Tătărăuca Veche. I have three children, and we found some clothes for them. It’s great that someone is helping us, and we are happy about this. We will have something special for the children for Easter".
"I came with my daughter to find something for her, and we thank everyone who organized this", said participants.
The campaign "Dăruiește cu Căldură" is organized by the Soroca Education Department in collaboration with the District Parents' Committee.
"Parents from educational institutions collect clothes, shoes, and even food products that are brought here. Through this initiative, the neediest parents can choose what they need. We see this as a noble goal, and in the future, we already have many people involved from almost all the institutions in the district," reported Elena Prodan, head of the education department.
The charity fair reached its fifth edition, and the organizers promise to continue this tradition.
