The elderly were worried that they would have nothing to put on the Easter meal, and when the young people came to them, their joy was immense. They received everything: canned goods, groats, flour, oil, sweets, but also products that are indispensable on the Easter meals.

Very nice that we will have Easter and may everyone be healthy and happy.

We are grateful to the people for sharing their kindness and food with us and we will have something to prepare for Easter.

“I came with my classmates to lend a helping hand to people in need. We are preparing food packages,” says Matvei, one of the volunteers.

“I am involved in the “Masa Bucuriei” campaign for the third year and we are glad that people were open with us again this year. These products that we collected from the five stores will be donated to people in need and we are confident that they need us and these products,” says Ecaterina, another participant in the charity event.

"We managed, with the support of the 25 volunteers and the teacher Olga Gherghelejiu from "Ion Creangă" and "Constantin Stere" Lyceums, to collect an impressive amount of food. It's 2233 kg of non-perishable food, plus what the believers brought yesterday and today to the holy church - 2400 kg of food", announced the priest of the "Sfinții Martiri Brâncoveni" church, Sorin Huluță.
