"We urge drivers to avoid the center of the capital, in the context of a meeting taking place that has blocked Ștefan cel Mare and Sfânt boulevard. The police will inform you immediately when the traffic will be resumed", the law enforcement officers announce.

We remind that hundreds of people took to the streets to protest against the government and high energy bills. People ask the authorities to pay their gas and heat bills, for the cold period of the year, in full. Contacted by moldova1.md, the spokeswoman for the Action and Solidarity Party categorized the protest action as an "attempt to destabilize the situation in the country", while the Government spokesperson told our source that Prime Minister Dorin Recean is informed about the developments of the event.

It should be noted that, until now, the law enforcement officials have announced the detention of six people with "suspicious behavior". In this context, the Police made a repeated call for a peaceful meeting, without acts of violence and provocations.
