Ukraine downs drones as Russian attacks cause damage

According to Ukraine's Air Force, last night the Russian army attacked Ukrainian territory with eight missiles and 87 unmanned aerial vehicles and drone simulators.
Ukraine's air defense successfully shot down 33 Shahed drones in the east, north, and south, Ukrainskaia Pravda reported. Additionally, 36 drone simulators were neutralized by electronic warfare. Following the attack, damage was reported in the Odesa, Sumy, Kharkiv, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions.
A fire broke out this morning in the Ukrainian city of Zaporizhzhia following a Russian drone attack, Zaporizhzhia regional head Ivan Fedorov reported, as cited by Ukrinform.
He added that emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
The Russians attacked the regional center with Shahed drones. Emergency services were working at the scene.
Kharkiv also experienced a drone attack. According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, Russians targeted a residential area. The strike involved Shahed-type drones.
It's worth noting that on the morning of April 18, a Russian missile attack on the city of Kharkiv killed one person and injured over 100, including eight children.
