Art exhibition dedicated to Easter traditions and cultural values opens at the Parliament

The Parliament is currently hosting an exhibition with works by students from the "Alexei Stârcea" Art School in Chisinau, students from the Technical Creation Center in Buiucani sector, the Creation Center in Hâncești and the Art School in Basarabeasca.
According to the Parliament's Communication and Public Relations Department, the paintings were created as part of the cross-border project “ Colors and Music of the Land,” initiated by the “Alexei Stârcea” School of Arts.
The exhibition includes two thematic sections: “Easter Composition” and “Flowers for Mom.” The Easter-themed paintings — featuring Easter cake, traditional cheesecake, red eggs, and churches — create a special atmosphere, evoking the traditions and customs of the Easter holidays. Among the 29 exhibits are also artworks inspired by nature and floral arrangements.
“In this anniversary year, we present to the public a remarkable moment for cultural and artistic education in the Republic of Moldova. The exhibition, hosted at the Parliament, reflects the talent, creativity, and dedicated work of young artists and stands as an expression of the cultural values we all promote and support,” said Veronica Tarasenco, a fine arts teacher at the “Alexei Stârcea” School of Arts.
The exhibition is dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the “Alexei Stârcea” School of Arts, one of the most prestigious art education institutions in our country. The artworks can be admired by visitors until the end of April.
