Ceban dismisses managers, relatives over suspicions
Chișinău Mayor Ion Ceban announced he had ordered the dismissal of several managers in municipal enterprises, citing "reasonable suspicions" concerning their activity.
Among those targeted are his godfather, Ruslan Garbalî, from SA "Apa-Canal" Chișinău, as well as his sister's godmother and his mother's brother – who, according to the mayor, were dismissed for the same reasons.
In a public post, Ceban wrote that the entire management of the municipal enterprise "Association for the Management of Green Spaces" had been dismissed. The mayor did not provide specific details about the nature of the suspicions. The information was also confirmed by the mayor's advisor, Natalia Ixari. According to her, Ceban is expected to provide more details.
Also on April 22, during an extraordinary meeting of the municipal administration, Vice-Mayor Ilie Ceban and Vice-Mayor Irina Gutnic presented the new management of Î.M. "Association for the Management of Green Spaces".
The role of interim director was assumed by Emilia Braga, who has been with the enterprise for over 20 years and was previously head of the Ciocana sector.
