89 entrepreneurs from the hospitality and food services (Horeca), tourism, agriculture, and sport sector have benefited from grants worth 28.5 million Lei from the Organization for Entrepreneurship Development (ODA).

These funds are allocated for the purchase of modern equipment, process digitalization, and consultancy services. Thus, businesses will become more competitive, and new well-paid jobs will be created.

Dan Sîrbu manages a pizzeria in Ungheni. The entrepreneur will receive a grant of 280 thousand Lei, which will be invested in kitchen equipment.

"The idea came to me when I was working abroad with my parents, and my dream was to return home and start my own business. I decided on pizza because we are located in an area popular with young people," said entrepreneur Dan Sîrbu.

Olga Pisarenco from Șoldănești district will receive a grant of three hundred thousand Lei. The money will be invested in modern equipment intended for the dairy farm she manages:

"We have been on the market as producers since 2016; we have a dairy farm. This business is in my blood. My parents also had animals; I grew up in a family with natural products."

Thanks to the grants awarded for business development, at least four hundred new jobs are expected to be created.
