Barcelona leads La Liga; Set for Copa Rey final

In the 33rd round of La Liga, the team coached by German Hans-Dieter Flick secured a 1:0 home win against Real Mallorca.

The Catalans dominated throughout, with an overwhelming 78 percent possession and 13 shots on target.

The only goal of the match was scored at the start of the second half, when Eric Garcia passed inside the box and Dani Olmo scored. This proved to be the final score, 1:0 to the blau-grana side, which, with 76 points, leads the league table.

Real Madrid has 69 points and a game in hand. Next up for FC Barcelona is the Copa del Rey final, facing their great rivals Real Madrid. The match is scheduled for Saturday, April 26th, at 11 PM CEST.

Furthermore, the Catalans are still in the running for the treble: the La Liga title, the Copa del Rey, and the Champions League, a feat they have previously achieved in the 2008/2009 and 2014/2015 seasons.
