Stanciu scores vs Ronaldo's club, agrees Genoa move

Nicolae Stanciu, the captain of the Romanian national football team, scored a stunning goal for his club side in the Saudi Arabian championship.

The FC Damac player scored against Al-Nassr, the club of famous Cristiano Ronaldo.

Nicolae Stanciu equalized the score at 2-2 in the 73rd minute. The Romanian international received a pass inside the penalty area and, on the turn, shot with his left foot into the far corner, sending the ball into the net. With this goal, the Romanian scored his fourth of the year for FC Damac.

However, Stanciu's team couldn't hold onto the draw until the end, conceding a goal in injury time and losing the match 2-3. Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo did not play in this match, as he was not even on the team sheet.

Nicolae Stanciu will leave FC Damac at the end of this season, when his contract expires. He has already reached an agreement with the Genoese club Genoa-1893, a side from Serie A, the top tier of Italian football.
