$90M World Bank boost for Moldova's growth, energy

Moldova is set to receive $90 million from the World Bank to boost the country's economic growth prospects and strengthen energy security.
The funds will be used under a Development Policy Operation to strengthen dual education in universities and consolidate the regulatory framework for displaced persons in the country.
The Development Policy Operation is part of a broader financial assistance package, which includes support from the International Monetary Fund, the EU, and the World Bank.
To date, Moldova has received over $2.3 billion through more than 70 World Bank-supported projects since joining in 1992.
