STISC warns: New disinformation spreading online

The Information Technology and Cyber Security Service (STISC) warns: new disinformation is circulating online.
According to STISC, the names and images of public institutions are being illegally used to send misleading messages.
The institution alerts the public that email addresses impersonating official institutions are being created online. Furthermore, deceptive messages are being sent to employees or citizens, and this information is being used to discredit state authorities and institutions. According to STISC, the attack aims to spread disinformation, sow distrust, and foster confusion.
Citizens are urged to verify information against official and credible sources, and any suspicious message should be reported to [email protected].
STISC assures the public that it is actively monitoring the situation and taking necessary measures in collaboration with competent institutions.
